It's been a while, but it's the first of the month, and I have more questions.
How tall is Nicholas Brendon?
Have I asked that before?
Why do they put people on boxes? I like the height differences. Now all I can think about are the boxes.
What's a fanfic remix?
What is "O.o" supposed to represent?
When do you think Cordelia went evil?
When was the first moment you knew you really liked Cordelia as a character?
Do you like Buffy's look in S1? Did you always like it, or did you find it barf worthy and then later learn to love it?
Did Flutie getting eaten shock you?
Does Giles seem really nervous when he first meets Angel? Doesn't he seem like he's acting how I get around someone I think is really really cool or really really hot? Not that you would know how I get but can't you imagine it?
Was there actually a plan for a plot with the Annoying One or was he just set up and then they couldn't figure out what to do with him?
Does anyone know if there were ever any ideas expressed by anyone re: what S6 of AtS may've been if they'd gotten a chance to do it, and if so is there a link to the conversation/whatever it was? Because I'm morbidly curious.
Are Potentials of a certain age? When Willow makes them all Slayers, does she activate little girls who would be, and old women who would've been? Or just gals of a certain age?
What happens when all those activated Slayers die? Is it back to one Slayer dies and another one is called?
Is any of this covered in Fray?
Do you think W&H's/Vail's spell to give Connor a life gets broken when Vail dies/Angel reneges on his deal to "work for" W&H? As in, the false memories disappear and no one has the false memories any more so Connor is pretty much basically back where he started, unless his family is willing to accept him anyway even though they have no memory of him/feelings for him before a year ago, nor he of them?

When did Giles invite Angel into his house, so that Angel could get in in "Passions"?
What does the line "I'm the one getting single white femaled here" mean? Is that a dumb question? Am I slow? I just don't get it.

You know what the best part about comics is? It's a hell of a lot easier to refer to specific events than it is with a TV show (or it is if you have a copy in your possession). In the book, it isn't explained how she did it. Somehow, a portal was opened and all the demons were sent home. All magical power on Earth was eradicated at the same time (my theory is that it was used up opening/sending the demons through the portal). What happened to the Slayer after/during that is unknown, and as the narrator for that bit was kind of in a position to know if she'd been wandering around in the Hell dimension, I don't think any portal-jumping occurred. Of course, it is quite possible that you've read/seen some interview where Joss says otherwise, but that was my perception.
I don't think they changed reality, just memories, otherwise they could anything they damned well please and would be impossible to beat, since they could just change the past
I get your point to some extent, plotwise, but I didn't say that changing reality was easy, or something to be taken lightly, even by the Senior Partners. By the same note, altering that many memories that well would have, IMO, basically the same effect in the "impossible to beat" equation. Also, my take on Vail's spell directly hinges on my perception of the events of "Home": what I saw (and I haven't encountered anything to contradict this) was that Connor was dead. Angel killed him. Now, the camera cut away before the knife/fist hit, so how that scene ended is up to the audience. But as far as I'm concerned, it ended with a slit throat and the Father-Will-Kill-the-Son prophecy bit fulfilled.
That said, there are still lots of ways that W&H could make Angel's life a living hell, many of which involve using Connor against him, but they'd be a lot more complicated than just undoing Vail's spell/reinstating old memories (more fun with individual perceptions: I think that the latter happened in "Origin").

I don't think so, especially since the altering memory thing is examined elsewhere in canon. The monks recreate everyone's memories in order to get Buffy to protect Key. So, the monks have a lot of power, but their methods are not infallible. Everyone finds out their memories are false--including the one from whom the monks wanted to protect the Key. Although those memories aren't eradicated, it says to me altering memory isn't exactly the epitome of power, as altering reality would be.
Then again, there's IWRY to consider, in which it's explicitly stated that the PTB alter reality. But in that instance, the PTB turn back reality, but it's Angel who rewrites it by doing something different. So it's not so much that the PTB alter reality as go back in time to create the possibility that it could be altered, which isn't necessarily possible with Connor because Connor will always be the spawn of two vampires, new memories or not. And since Connor still has his special powers after "Home", that seems to suggest that Connor is still Darla and Angel's son, whereas if reality had been rewritten he would REALLY be the Reilly's son and have no super powers.
