I do all of that! Sometimes an urge to watch a certain episode or arc (Like say latter season 2, Angelus/Dru/Spike/Sad!Buffy fun) will take over me and I can't put it to rest until I watch it. Or if you're like me and neglectful and have lost some of your CDs and the eps you happen to want to watch are on said CDs, I can't put it to rest unless I find another ep/arc I want to watch besides those. Sometimes if I'm gonna have a lazy week, I'll rewatch a season.

I think Angel's love for baby Connor was so all-encompassing that making goofy faces was wayyy in character.
I don't think "ARCHIE KENNEDY" when I see Lee Adama, but I didn't watch HH.
I kinda liked Justine as a character. I understood her anyway. The actress had great voice.
"Provider" was pretty bad, but so was "She."
What was your least favorite episode of S7 Buffy? I couldn't stand "Killer in Me."
Whedonverse episode I used to like but not so much as I used to: "Entropy."
Whedonverse episode I didn't like so much but do now: "Storyteller."
I watch entire seasons, usually, from beginning to end, sometimes for vidding purposes, sometimes just because I want to.
I don't think they fucked with Cordy's character in S3 per se. I think they fucked with her character in S4. S3? I could have explained away her arc from "Birthday" to "Tomorrow" as a brilliant illo of the fatal flaw of hubris. S4? There was no explaining. None.
I like Andy Hallett as Lorne, could care less about Andy Hallett as Andy Hallett.
I like Stephanie Romanov as Lilah, could care less about Stephanie Romanov as Stephanie Romanov.
I don't mind DB's 5 o'clock shadow on Bones; I just wish the show were a little more interesting.
Even when DB's acting resembled a log with teeth, I didn't mind. However, he's *wayyyy wayyyy wayyyy* better than he used to be. He's like James Garner to me now.

I loved "Waiting in the Wings." It was funny and heartbreaking.

Witness Angel the Series ... he was rode hard, and he gavesome brilliant performances that they'll be hard pressed to get him to give up in Bones.

- Kara's badassitude is a complex and beautiful thing.
- I don't really think when I see Lee Adama, except to acknowledge that Jamie Bamber is a short man who turns me into a puddle of goo beyond all reason
- I disliked Waiting in the Wings because I hated C/A, and I haven't rewatched it since. Now that I've mellowed on C/A, I might like it. *shrug*

Why does everyone hate Waiting In The Wings? I don't hate it necessarily, but it's not my favorite. I have issues with the C/A aspect, mostly because I think it was a way for the writers to give C/A to the pairing's fan without really giving it to them, if that makes sense? Like, it was an easy way out for them--they could point to it and say, "See! We gave you C/A!" without really having much follow through with an actual relationship. Which is odd for me to say because I don't like C/A at all, but I don't like when fans are dicked over.

I like "Selfless" okay, but the dialog feels off whenever I watch it. Thematically, I think it's excellent. But for him to give "Selfless" SUPERLATIVE when something like "The Body" just gets Good . . . ? I don't get it. But then, I also boggled whed he gave "The Witch" an Excellent. I'm not sure I really understand AoQ's rating system.

I do hate that Buffy-Riley sex one, though not as much as Provider, but the other two I like a lot.
Because it precipitates the ruining of both Gunn and Wesley Oh. I like what they do with the triangle, except for how they handle the Fred/Gunn break up in S4, and the Wes/Fred in S5.

So far, I've only ever rewatched the entire series. Well, that's not true. I've rewatched "Origin" and "The Wish" just for fun. And on this last rewatch, I just couldn't stomach watching the rest of S7.

But usually when I just rewatch one part, I want to see *everything* again. It's a compulsion. Or me being anal!

I don't think "ARCHIE KENNEDY" when I see Lee Adama, but I didn't watch HH. Horatio Hornblower ROCKS MY SOCKS! And the character Jamie Bamber plays is so . . . so fanboy.

I kinda liked Justine as a character. I understood her anyway. The actress had great voice. I actually think the actress sucked. A lot. And the way her whole character was played out was lame. But the ideas behind her character were badass, imo, in the way they related to *everyone* who's lives she touched--especially Wesley.

"Provider" was pretty bad, but so was "She." "She" was lame, but it didn't seem to fuck with character as much as "Provider". Plus, "She" had the Angel and Wesley respective spaz dancing.

It's not just my least favorite ep in S7, it's my least favorite ep in ALL of BtVS (but it doesn't take the cake on "Provider"). It's "Selfless". One day, I need to do a big ole rant about my massive hatred for that ep, because most people seem to really like it.

I don't think they fucked with Cordy's character in S3 per se. I think they fucked with her character in S4. S3? I could have explained away her arc from "Birthday" to "Tomorrow" as a brilliant illo of the fatal flaw of hubris. S4? There was no explaining. None. I don't know what you mean by "brilliant illo". Or by that arc being about hubris? To me everything after "Billy" (though actually it started here and there before that) was some other person who no longer made snappish, witty, bitchy, selfish, unique, interesting, or uncliche statements. In S4, it gets explained by her being controlled by Jasmine. I find that explanation far easier to accept. Even if I hate the evil black dress.

Even when DB's acting resembled a log with teeth, I didn't mind. However, he's *wayyyy wayyyy wayyyy* better than he used to be. He's like James Garner to me now. He is very much better.

"Pressies," "ficcies," anything with an "ies" diminution? I hate that. Me too!

I have no idea, because to *me* whining is NOT spelled with another *g*. Yeah. I think it's a British thing, maybe. But every time I see it I just think someone is mispelling it!

I think he's doing a much better job. He's so much more relaxed than he used to be in front of the camera. Although I also think he's going almost *too* far over to the other side and making the character have too much of the real DB. If that makes any sense at all. No, perfect sense, because I agree completely. Sometimes I just wish someone would slap him around and tell him not to be himself, please.

He's okay. Don't think I'd evey buy a CD though. He has cds?

I'm rewatching from s3, since [info]tabaqui has my s1 and s2 of Ats. I love it. All over again. Can't get enough although it makes every show I watch now seem lame and poorly written. *sigh* I'm rewatching S3 too! It's funny, because I have trouble with this season--I hate what they do with Cordy's character, and there are some dork!Angel moments that *really* rub me the wrong way. But rewatching it, I can't believe how much I love it, and how much of that love I'd forgotten. I love the themes Holtz and Justine bring into the mix.

Any ep in s4 of Angel. I hated the whole pg!cordelia arc and it took me a while to warm up to teen!connor. But now, since I can see the big picture, I love it. Oh, yeah, I love it. One thing about S4 is I love it as a whole more than I love each episode. I was completely spoiled for it though, so I knew first time I watched it what would happen, and that made me love the pieces as they came first time through.

Sometimes. Other times I think he's doing some of the best acting I've yet seen from him, so it's hit or miss... I feel the same way. He's really improved since BtVS S1 (in which he absolutely sucked) and sometimes, dude, I don't just think he's passable or good, but really really freakin' amazing as an actor, with the subtlety and the minute facial expression that just says everything. Other times? I'm just like, man, what was the director thinking, letting him get away with that crap?

I looooove me some scruff. I often do too (scruffy!Wesley makes me need my bunk), but the shadow on DB doesn't ever look like enough to be real scruff. I think he has uneven hair. I don't think he'd look good with a beard.

I tend to start at the beginning every once in a while and work my way through; it feels so rewarding to get the whole story all over again. Except when I'm drunk- then I just throw something in and watch it (usually season three BtVS) Yeah, I rewatch the whole thing too! But I just started it for the first time a little over a year ago, so I'm only on my second rewatch. I rarely rewatch eps because they feel so out of place! But I do think S3 of BtVS might be my favorite season. It definitely is of BtVS, anyway.

A few. Whedonverse in general? Inca Mummy Girl comes to mind. I like Inca Mummy Girl! The only thing wrong with it is it doesn't have Angel. It's like an S1 ep, even though it happens in S2--stupid monster, but great character stuff. I love Xander in that ep. I love Xander getting some in that ep (well, a kiss, anyway). I actually liked the Mummy Girl, too; the actress was cute. I liked Willow being jealous, and Buffy dealing with her RL vs. Slaying issues. And first sight of both Johnathan and Oz! yay!

I love it, except that poor Summer's accent is atrocious, and I'm not a big fan of the Angel/Cordy thing. I am thinking of the right ep, right? Yes, right ep. I thought Glau's accent was great, but then I don't know anything about accents. I didn't like the A/C thing first time through, but now that I just rewatched it, I found it...really interesting. For one thing, I feel that the A/C in S3 is forced. There's this whole, Kyrumption, two Champions thing, as if it's something inevitable, rather than free will. WitW is all about free will--and S3&4 are all about free will. I think it's great foreshadowing.

Ugh. I thought she had great potential, but that it was sadly, sadly, sadly squandered. I kind of feel that way, but I guess the potential makes the S3 that happens in my head way cooler.
