Seems like finding Spike hot but not James is the "it" thing to do these days. So it was just the bleached hair and personality that did it? If the rest of him is so unattractive to most people, then where did all this fuss about his bones and eyes come from? It couldn't have just been me. LOL *scratches head*

No, I think it's obvious that if you find Spike attractive you've got to find some things about JM attractive too. It's just, I think without all the Spike-accoutraments, some people don't find his cheekbones and eyes enough to find him attractive over-all. Also, Spike is timeless; JM is aging.
Personally I find older!JM sexier than younger!JM.
Well, his facial features is what I always found the most striking about JM/Spike. And the deep timbre of his voice. The "Spike-accoutrements" was secondary. I kind of find it WTF-ish that it's the other way around for so many people. But if it's mainly just the aging, that I get. I'm only 21. I hope he doesn't age too rapidly because I really don't have an old man fetish!
