NaNo Update
Maybe I should make a filter, because this is bound to get annoying. Or possibly I should post only to myself :o)
5,600!
Google searches: What do wild boars eat?, What is the difference between fire and electricity?
Wikipedia searches: Pandora, Prometheus, Cronus, Uranus, Pyrrha, Greek first man and woman, Epimetheus, Deucalian, Wild boars, Pelasgus, Pelasgians, Athena, Artemis, Leto, Elysium, Titanomachy, Titans, Cyclops.
is how I picture Persephone, except with darker hair and brown eyes. I'm crap at visualizing, and I found that if I cast my original characters as images I already know, they still sound original when I describe them. Is that cheating?
I thought of this while writing:

I did not think of this, but I laughed about it to myself:

I can't listen to music when I write, but I did think of this, apropos of nothing much. Then again, I too often think of Loreena McKennitt, and should probably stop. Except it's probably too late now; I am already cliche. Guys! At least it's not Sarah MacLachlan:

My project is called The Dandelion Seed. Do you remember those many moons ago when you came to visit and I sort of pitched a crossover AU between BtVS and The Wizard of Oz? Yeah, well, that story just doesn't seem to go away even though I keep trying to quit it, so I decided to write it. It might not be long enough for NaNo, but it feels way longer than my normal stuff, so I feel pretty confident that I might be able to churn through about half of the word count. We'll see. It just seemed like a good excuse to write it. Thirty days to just get it done.
I'm already behind, however, because I won't be writing tonight and tomorrow is looking iffy. I'm taming the weave into braids and that takes both hands plus I got a late start on account of voting. They changed my polling place so I had to walk six blocks instead of the usual one. Ah, c'est la vie.

I hope you catch up!
WA has mail in ballots. I think it is so much better. I feel that having to go somewhere to vote is not only inconvenient; it favors people who have a life style that more easily allows them to get to places and use their time freely, you know?
I remember you talking about this project but I don't remember what you said. It sounds awesome, though. I'm always here if you want to talk about it!

But basically, it's a Season 6 crossover with a post-Wicked Wizard of Oz with a heavy side of The Red Shoes. Weird and out there, I know. Anyway, I am cheating and sneaking in some words right now at work. Maybe I can squeeze my short fall down to one day instead of two.

I hope your NaNo is going well. I am giddy, GIDDY with mine. I took today off, not really to write, I'm just getting burned out on work, but I thought I would at least get a lot of writing done. And then it was like pulling teeth, and pulling teeth, and pulling teeth, and of course once it turned midnight I was suddenly on a roll. I hate how I think best really late at night; it makes morning, already difficult for me, that much harder.
Go go go L go! I can't wait to read you story--both of them; I saw that you posted for the IWRY Marathon; I want to see what you did with it...
