A Survery On IMPORTANT MATTERS

-What's your favorite way to have ice cream?
-Does del.ici.ous frighten and confuse you? Is it a bewilderness of scary-itude?
-Why did Wesley have to die?
-What's your most funny/tragic/dramatic/eccentric/amazering RL experience in a grocery store?
-What's your favorite way to have eggs?
-What are your opinions on Irkutsk?
-What's the pairing you turn to for rough down and dirty PWP (like, hate!sex type PWP), because you love your OTP too much and can't stand to see them hurt each other?
-What do you not-Southern people do without crepe myrtles?
-Are you excited about Harry Potter? Can you contain yourself?
-Is it wrong to just submit a chapter of a WIP you were going to post anyway for the lynnevitational?
-What were your thoughts on the season finale of Heroes? I missed them all.
-When is the Angel comic coming out?
-Have you read the new Dune books? Do you like them?

-What's your favorite way to have ice cream?
Vanilla ice cream over rum-soaked sponge cake.

-Does del.ici.ous frighten and confuse you? Is it a bewilderness of scary-itude?
It is a fulminating mess of ignorance as far as I'm concerned, because I don't know what it is.

-Why did Wesley have to die?
Wesley?

-What's your most funny/tragic/dramatic/eccentric/amazering RL experience in a grocery store?
I saw a family at the store at 11-11:30 PM, mom & 3 kids. The kids had *filled* the cart to overflowing with junk food. The mom was reading magazines and paying no attention to any of the kids (who were almost running people over with the cart.) When they were in the checkout lane, the littlest began grabbing as much candy as he could from the candy display in the lane. The mom kept reading magazines.

-What's your favorite way to have eggs?
In my ovaries ... (:ducking and running:)

-What are your opinions on Irkutsk?
I can't even pronounce it...

-What's the pairing you turn to for rough down and dirty PWP, because you love your OTP too much and can't stand to see them hurt each other?
Raoul and the Phantom, 2004 movie. Rrwwrrrr...

-What do you not-Southern people do without crepe myrtles?
What do Southern people do *with* crepe myrtles?

-Are you excited about Harry Potter? Can you contain yourself?
I suppose I can contain myself, but I am excited - because after I finish book 7, I get to start writing my HP fanfic.

-Is it wrong to just submit a chapter of a WIP you were going to post anyway for the lynnevitational?
....

-What were your thoughts on the season finale of Heroes? I missed them all.
I never have watched Heroes.

-When is the Angel comic coming out?
Dunno.

-Have you read the new Dune books? Do you like them?
I read the one on the Butlerian jihad, and the one on how Baron Harkonnen engendered Jessica, and how he got to be so enormously fat. In general, I was disappointed - the books seemed too *earnest,* without that dry, ironic detachment Herbert did so well. So I haven't read anymore.

-Why can't I finish anything?
Because you're making up surveys? (:pets [livejournal.com profile] tkp - just kidding:)

-What do you think Oz has been doing all this time?
Hiding behind the curtain...

-Are we done yet?
I am!

RUM CAKE. Is so good. I have a good recipe.

Dude. Inattentive mothers. Drive me nuts. But especially when their kids are bothering ME.

Is there lots of Raoul slash? I haven't seen much of it; I'd like to read it.

We do with crepe myrtles what others do with lilacs. Remember that there's beauty in this world.

You didn't want to write HP fic because it's open canon?

the books seemed too *earnest,* without that dry, ironic detachment Herbert did so well.

I just started House of Harkonnen and I was wondering about that same thing. They have Herbert's old notes for constructing plot, but I'm just not sure they can recreate the dryness of that style. Oh well, maybe I'll like the story enough to get through it anyway.

Because you're making up surveys?

But that is entirely true!

Hiding behind the curtain...

hahahahah!

Rum cake recipe: share, please? (You can e-mail me if you want; it's on my userinfo page.)

These kids missed me with their careening cart, and they provided so much opportunity for horrified-fascination viewing that I didn't even get irritated. It's about the only time I ever wished I had a camera phone...

I don't think there's much POTO Raoul slash - I wrote a little myself, which you may have already seen. It's pretty tame compared to some, I guess.

I thought crepe myrtles were some kind of French pancake dish, like crepe suzettes... :duh:

re: writing HP fiction, I want to wait until I've read the 7th book, because I am terribly lazy and don't want to put in the effort, only to have something blow me out of the water in the 7th book. (Am thinking of the Hermione/Harry 'shippers here - that had to suck!) Especially because there's a rumor that Book 7 is going to have more-than-normal Petunia time.

In general I think writing an HP story would be fun, but scary, because I have nightmare visions of being "brit-picked" to death.

Fun survey; you did well!
