I don't know anything about Emrys Journal--I mean, whether this is really a big deal or anything. But omg I'm going to be published! And now I'm off to make fried ravioli and spinach dip for the party. Damn, I need booze.

Oh, and I want to use this line: Excuse me, I have to call everyone I have ever met, right now.

Ha. Well, I know enough about it to know its address. I had some short stories I wanted to publish, but the only magazines I knew that published short stories was stuff like "The New Yorker." I doubted I had a chance to get into anything like that, so I did a lot of research and came up with some literary magazines that are a much smaller deal. I know the things Emrys says about Emrys on its web site--like when it was established and so on and so forth, but I don't know how the literary community at large views it. I don't know if some lit Joe off the street would say, "Oh, that's very respectable," or "Oh, I've never heard of it," or "Oh, they'll publish any old thing." Probably the never heard of it one, because it has a very small circulation. But it's nice to have something, you know?

And thank you very much!
