How often do you change your bio?
How do you use tags? No, this one's not you personally. I really don't get how to use them or what they're for.
How do you get to your journal—is it in your favorites? Is the link there your “recent entries” page, your user page, or your “my lj” page, or what?
Why do you have yourself friended?
Do you ever have trouble finding the button to click to add someone’s post to your memories?
How often do you check your flist to see if someone’s added you?
Do you feel it’s impolite to have long conversations with someone on someone else’s journal?
Do you get annoyed when someone makes a comment just to correct a grammatical error, or makes a comment that’s only one word, or seems pointless to you?
How do you spell the gerund form of rec and beta?
General fandom
What did they use to put the tattoo on David Boreanaz’s back? Do you think they worried about getting it in the same place every time? And who gets the job of applying it, anyway?
Did David Boreanaz ever have a back double?
How tall is Nicholas Brendon? Okay now, how tall is he for real?
Am I the only slathering B/A fangirl who doesn’t think much of the episode IWRY?
Are there any fics out there about Anne (formerly Lily, formerly Chantarelle)?
Did anyone besides me really love Kate Lockley?
What DVD commentary do you like the best?
What’s J. Augest Richards doing these days? Alexis Denisof?
Joss Whedon
Why do some people hate Joss Whedon?
Whatever happened to the Ripper spin off?
Is there even the remote possibility of a Faith spin-off?
Is there even the remote possibility of the cartoon?
Did Serenity make enough money, or not?
I want someone explain comic books to me. I was really into X-men comics in preteen years, but one of the reasons I kind of dropped it was because I got confused (also, I got too tall to be comfortable sexing up with Wolverine and realized I would never have boobs like Rogue's. When you're 11, you still want boobs like Rogue's, even though you figure out by 12 NO ONE has boobs like Rogue's. Or even wants boobs like Rogue's, because ugh, back pain). There seemed to be so many different series all going on at once; I couldn't keep them straight. I didn't get the difference between Uncanny, Astonishing, and Amazing. Isn't there like . . . a diagram for these things?

Why do some people hate Joss Whedon?
Because he had the nerve to tell the story he wanted. Because B/A didn't ride off into the sunset at the send. Because B/S was completely dysfunctional nad bad for both of them. Because there was too much Spike. Because there wasn't enough Spike. Because.
Whatever happened to the Ripper spin off?
not sure.
Is there even the remote possibility of a Faith spin-off?
I think it's dependent on her. If she wanted to do it, I'll bet it would get done.
Is there even the remote possibility of the cartoon?
Maybe. Every once in a while, a rumor crops up. I'd be happy if they would just publish the completed scripts.
Did Serenity make enough money, or not?
I doubt it. It will turn a profit but probably not a big enough profit.

I don't read X-men, but it's pretty much the same in evry comic fandom. They run multiple books so they can appeal to different people (or force people to buy a billion books.) if you read Batman, there's Batman, Tales of the Dark Night, Detective (commonly known as 'tec) and Gotham Knights. Also all his sidekicks have their own books and none of the continuity seems to match up.

Me too.

I was wondering because of the foreign release. I was just reading something the other day about a movie ("The Island") that cost a good chunk to make, which utterly flopped at the US box office. But it more than made up for those losses and the production cost in the money made from the foreign release--so I was wondering if there's any possibility we'd get more Firefly movies that way.
none of the continuity seems to match up.
This drives me nuts. The few times I've tried to sort the comics I like out I just get so confused. My approach to stories (ever story, any story) is very linear though, and I dislike things being the least bit out of place.

First off, editors don't tell writers what's going on in other books except for Big Events. (like breaking batman's back. Everybody knew about that.)
Secondly, this way the reader has a choice. If you like psychotic, leave me alone batman there's a book for you. If you like kindlier, gentler batman there's also a book for you. (And if you'd like to read a reboot of the entire mythos wherein batman physically abuses robin, there's apparently a completely misogynistic piece of crap for that too.)
She admitted that before she became a comics writer, she also hated the lack of continuity, but now that she sees how the business is run, she realizes there isn't much choice.

Yes please.
I like the idea of having a choice, it's just sometimes they seem to do things in other books that carry over, and then I feel like I missed something. That really makes me anxious.
