The difference between SGA and SG-1. Well, there are different characters for one thing. Also SGA is set in another galaxy (but they still have all their sets in Vancouver so every alien planet looks like Canada), so there is that. The Atlantis set is cool, blues and greens, and there are many pretty people and esssplosions. Things go boom and I go AH! Like at fireworks. And then the pretty people shoot guns and have bonding moments and I go AH! And wish they would all make out with each other, but sadly they don't.

And SG-1 was cancelled so after this year there will be no need to try to tell them apart.

I shouldn't be ashamed, and yet! My vagina is shy and thinks that it should be reading Dostoevsky instead of vampire demon-hunting-brothers flyboys-and-physicistsoh, just pick one!porn. People in real life do not understand it and so there is much with the handwavey, oh, I write science fiction and fantasy and some erotica and no you can't read it.

Come to think of it, I think I'll go masturbate and let the Russian lit gather more dust. Wheee!

But I mean, is it same show different set different people? That always confused me.

I must say I'm impressed your vagina reads Doestoevsky. Usually, I use my brain and eyes. And why are you reading Dostoevsky? I'm right in the middle of The Brothers Karamazov (I'm stuck halfway through. I loved the first half but this middle part is hair tearingly boring). I took a Dostoevsky class in undergrad, in which we were assigned all his books except "The Gambler". I read them all minus Karamazov because I was bogged down in my other classes at the time, but I love love love Dostoevsky so I've picked up Karamazov now. The Idiot is one of my favorite books of all time.

SGA is an offshoot of SG1, much the same as Angel was an offshoot of Buffy. Except without David Boreanaz in both.

Yes, my vagina has dreams of glory. It loves to read. I throw out Dostey as a general example of how my reading list has suffered since I found fanfic and porn. I got stuck midway myself through The Idiot. When that ill fellow started going on and on with his political speech, man, every night I was like "HMM. Porn or political speech by a consumptive man?" And porn won out.

But I'll always have the fact that I've read tons of great literature in the past. You can't take that away from me! *pumps shakes fist*
