Not really. He's not the greatest actor in the world, but he is much improved from BtVS S1 and not as horrific as some people think he is. He's best when he's restrained, and not trying to be too "actor-y"." I think he's great. I think he's better at saying things with just his eyes than some big screen actors will ever be. Trouble is, he doesn't use that often enough, and he's not always on, and when he's *not* on, he's one of the...least good actors I've ever been able to watch on TV. Lostakasha mentioned above that he does a better job when a director has a firm hold on him, and I think that's absolutely true. I think he still just doesn't know what's powerful on screen, and what isn't. Because dude, when he's on, he's on.

Perhaps you're looking for that perfect first job? Believe me, it ain't out there. Sometimes you just have to suck it up and take a job you might hate in order to get to a job you'll love. I sure hope that's it. Because right now I can't even find a job of major suckitude.

I'm sorry, the correct question should be "Why is Laura Roslin such a badass?" Because she is. [info]marenfic will argue against this but Roslin pwns everyone, including Kara Thrace. Dude, everyone on that show is a badass! I just started watching it (I'm 8 eps into S1) and god, I love everyone. Sometimes I just want to shout OMG I love Roslin! Or Adama! Or Lee! But most often, it's Starbuck.

Maybe "The Bachelor Party"? And why does everyone hate on TGIQ so much? Am I the only person who likes that episode? I think I am. "The Bachelor Party" is lame, but I don't hate it. I don't hate TGIQ, but I don't like it. However, you're not the only one who likes it. In fact, iirc, I think a2zmom likes it.

Which is odd for me to say because I don't like C/A at all, but I don't like when fans are dicked over. That's really interesting. I don't like C/A either, but not so much the idea of it as the way it was handled. Still, most of the C/A in WitW isn't bothersome to me because it was a spell and not really them talking (if Cordy REALLY ever said, "I'm only alive when you're inside me" to Angel I would...I don't know what I'd do, but it'd be something worse than everything else the did to fuck up Cordy's character in S3). But as you say, that really cheats out the C/A fans. Then again, Lostakasha is a C/A fan, and she says she liked it!
