What's the thing in lj called, where a post looks like a white page with text, with just a few buttons at the top, and can you always get to that in anyone's journals, or is it only some journals?

[The ballet plot was too damn obvious if you knew anything about Giselle. Also, I hate Angel/Cordelia.]

[Nah, it was perfectly in character. Angel can be such a dork. It's kind of adorable.]

[I liked her a lot! I'm sorry she never appeared again after "Deep Down." She would have made a great sleeper character to reappear in S5.]

That's disturbing. And yet, I find myself more comfortable in at least *writing* Angelus than I do any other character. He gets to say whatever he thinks, and barring that, whatever will hurt. Usually both. Guess those things come naturally to me. That's disturbing, too.

I love how this ep is not only a great one shot but fits in so perfectly into the arc and theme of S2.
[Yes. Fred, for instance.]
I like the concept of Fred better than Fred. I do quite like her on-screen, but in fic there's the ways she parallels Drusilla and Faith and Cordelia, and the other ways she parallels Connor, and weirdly Buffy. And then there's Wesley. She's more fun to me as a place in people's lives than a character in her own right.

I don't know Giselle. I don't hate the idea of A/C so much as how they handled it in the series. The way they handled A/C reminded me of role-playing, and WitW is all about free will. Thematically I think it's rather cool. Though yes, simplistic.

I always want her to reappear, too. Then again, I have a thing with those little characters who just disappear. Like Justine and David Nabbit and Kate and Anne and Gwen.
