Holiday, Thanks, and yeah

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate!

Thank you so so much to ros_fod for the lj virtual gifty, and anon. for the other virtual gifty (who are you, zomg!). I just love that 'cause I never got any before and it's such a surprise to see them whenever I open my user page! And thanks to chrisleeoctaves for the card, and imnotacommittee for the card and vampire captain! And thanks a bajillion to kita0610 for the chocolates--you found the way to my heart (well. The other way is through vampire porn. The other other way is through my superior vena cava. And stuff.)

Um, no one recieved anything seasonal or holiday-y from me. But, if I have your address, please don't think it's weird if you recieve a really random gift in January or February or March. Or anywhen. 'Cause I meant to do some stuff and didn't have time. 'Cause, hey, you know what? I GOT A JOB. Yay me! It's a sucky job because I sit around, but good because I sit around--still don't know if I can go online, but I can write, and read. And that's important to me because professional goals and personal preferences and grad school and also lots and lots of fanfic all involve writing and reading. So, that's what's been up with me!

That, and I got a Claddaugh ring for Christmas. I am SUCH a cheese. You could cover it up by saying, oh, it's a nice piece of jewelry and blah blah blah, but you'd be wrong. The ONLY reason I wanted it because I'm such a sappy B/Aer, and every time I look at it I think of that stupid stupid dock scene and get such a freakin' happy.

Congratulations on the job! That's great news! I hope that the sitting around is pleasant either doing whatever the job entails or writing and reading. And getting money is always nice. Happy holidays!

Hee! Thanks! The job entails almost nothing--answering the phone about once an hour. So I bring fanfic and a book to read, and try to write fanfic and my book as well!

A job is good for the money, and also tres fine if you get to read and write, meaning you get paid for doing that thing we all love.

I looked longingly at a claddaugh, and nearly bought it. I have a celtic knot ring as it is, but am a chicken -s**t when it comes to admitting I want a claddaugh because of Buffy and Angel. Go *you* for saying that.

Yeah! The job is actually quite great.

I had a Celtic knot ring that I bought in Ireland, but it broke. It was really very pretty, so I wanted something similar to replace it, but I could NOT get the Claddaugh outta my head. What's funny is I think Claddaughs are actually dorky looking. However, this one really does look good on my finger, and it does remind me of B./A, and I love it so much!

My Mom bought me the celtic knot ring, at my request for a birthday a while back when Buffy and Angel were on the telly. *smirk*

I also bought a celtic cross necklace to go with. I am never without both.

I sigh and think of Angel...sad, aren't I?

My claddagh was purchased with a bunch of B/Aers and I wear it "to celebrate the friendships I have made through B/A". Officially. Of course I totally wear it because I'm a B/Aer at heart, right? I'd bet 80% of B/Aers have a claddagh. If I could figure out how to post an anonymous poll, I'd totally do one. HIlarious, right?

I've always wanted to get a Claddaugh ring! I never got around to it though.
And for some reason the word "Claddaugh" is sounding really dirty to me right now... I think that my mind is getting dirtier by the minute! =P =)
