I'd sell my soul to someone who:
1. is Julie Andrews. She's one of the only stars I worship in a reverent fangirly way. Key word being reverent. DB, et al, I just want to lick things of off.
2. loves. Loves things, people, fandom, pets, and activities with abandon and fervor and without compunction, and expresses it frequently at the risk of being embarrassed or hurt.
3. writes fic really heavy with metaphor, theme, motifs, and freakishly fractal type mind-boggling insights that connect all the characters. Other fic gets me, too, but this is a special kink.
4. can respect and often love other characters and 'ships besides the ones they're most interested in, and write about them with not only respect, but insight. Also, can debate why they feel the way they do without turning ugly.
5. is Rachel Ray. I just made turkey meatloaf wrapped in bacon. Yum-O!
6. is self-employed and sexually harrasses herself at work. Oh, baby.
7. tags me for a meme. Am I a spazz for liking it? It just makes me feel like someone is interested in me, you know? Plus, it gives me reasons to make pointless posts I normally restrain myself from making.
8. is as easy as I am, and had so many things they'd give it up for they had to do 5+n reasons.
9. is

Heee, should I tag you for memes now? I don't have any on the docket, but if that's the way to buy your soul forever and ever, I'll look into it!

Steve Buscemi? "He's funny lookin'."
Ha! Well, I'm sure the glory of getting tagged would wear off if I got tagged all the time. But I've only been tagged 3 times before, and it feels all squishy, you know?

I don't know who Rachel Ray is. Wait, let me Google her...
comes back
Oh- she's some sort of cook. 'K.
I hear you number 4 and raise you by saying: fandom is all about the love and I never did get the hate...I mean, I get the annoyance and the pettiness and the wavering loyalties...but not the hate.
It just makes me feel like someone is interested in me, you know?
I am incredibly interested in you...although not in a stalkerish way. Ok, maybe a wee bit stalkerish. *g*

I want to. A lot. I'll have to see about it at some later date when I can be more sure.

Gah, writercon. I *so* want to meet you and Lynne and all these people I hear are going. I just have no idea about the money.
Rachel Ray has the best recipes ever. She makes the fried ravioli I was talking about. I want to cook for you now.
Yeah, fandom exists because we all love something. Then again, I don't hate things very often. Right now, I can't actually think of something I hate. Oh wait. Joyce. Ah, Joyce. DIE DIE DIE. No, I don't really even hate her, because she did die.
ok, I admit to being a little stalkerish of you sometimes too ;o)

Right now I'm in the frame of mind that cooking is my least favorite part of the day. The kids only want to eat pizza and Annie's shells (mac-and-cheese). Maybe tacos, on a good day. I should just cook those three things in rotation.
*throws up hands in despair*
I love Julie Andrews too. Victor/Victoria is one of my favorite movies. Should I be embarrassed for loving that one more than Sound of Music? I think it's hilarious.

Most of her meals take me 45 min to and hour. And she doesn't account for shopping and clean up time. What I tend to do is surf through for the main dish recipes that look easiest--the ones where I actually BELIEVE it'll only take 30 min--and make one of those, then for the side I'll just do something like plain old broccoli. Doing her whole meals usually just take too long.
A few of her things that I've tried have been bland, but most have been really really delicious. Maybe I'll do a post on it and share the recipes that've worked for me. I love cooking. I suck at it, really, but I perservere.
Victor/Victoria is awesome. I can't watch the scene with the cockroach, though. I love how Julie looks in a suit with her hair slicked back. I just like Sound of Music better because I'm such a sap. Oh, and a young Christopher Plummer is hot stuff.
