C. Happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] stultiloquentia! She's an excellent writer and thinker and wit, and she makes me incredibly happy when ever I see her soup can. That was not a dirty innuendo.
I. The IWRY Marathon kicked off today! The story is Letters, by Jo ([livejournal.com profile] librarian2003). I haven't read it yet, but I'm really excited because Jo's a fabulous writer. She's one of the first Jossverse fic authors I've ever read! So hop to it, kids!
N. Tomorrow [livejournal.com profile] lostakasha posts. She wrote B/A, y'all. I'm aquiver with excitement.
D. Does anybody know what happened to Spy!Daddy? I mean, that show, Justice, that used to come on after Bones?
E. Speaking of Bones, this ep was a little hard to watch for me because sometimes every woman I know seems so intent on changing themselves, especially getting thinner. It makes me sad. Also, I'm doing this writing thing where I have to do body modification research, and it's really icky. Like, some of the photos I looked at, with men and 19" waists. I think that's why I'm nauseous.
R. On the other hand, DB. Fuck, that man's arms. No, seriously. I'd do 'em.
E. S4 of AtS OWNS me. It owns me like an owning thing. And long, woe-is-me, what-am-I-now, on-and-on, in-the-church monologues, which JM and that whole scene just, I'm sorry, utterly lamed up for me, VK and that whole other scene made shiny and new for me.
L. Did you guys know T.J. Thyne (Hodgins from Bones) was on AtS?
L. I hate Angel's hair at the beginning of S5. And his clothes.
A. On Oprah, Denzel Washington talked about the art of a single perfect tear.
! Do you guys think Baltar, Joaquin Phoenix, and VK have an uncanny ability to cry?

Bones was definitely a disturbing episode to watch, the young children, their parents, willing to do ANYTHING to winning a bloody beauty pageant? Dyed hair at 8? I've actually...never even dyed my hair before.

Haha I'm having a hard time following your ramblings :P But if you're saying that long rambly speechifying Spike/JM is lame? Then yes I agree, Church scene inclusive.

When was TJ on ATS?

Not many people liked long haired DB, but I think it's because he was filming the Crow in which he had long hair. His clothes made him look like a box. You can't a man with those wide wide wide shoulders in a suit like that.

Uh...not sure about the others, but VK is definitely a good cryer.

I've tried dying my hair red, but it's too dark to work.

Well, sometimes Spike goes off on long rambles, JM is fabulous, like the teaser to "In the Dark."

What I meant was that the church scene with JM made me feel a long monologue in a church dealing with issues of self doubt just couldn't be pulled off without being lame and boring. VK's execution of a similar church monologue changed my feelings on that point.

He could be okay long haired, but the way they styled it was some 70s disco shit.

Bones costumers put DB in square suits and he looks damn fine. The problem was they weren't fitted right, and the shirts they had him wear beneath them were godawful. Imo.

Heh, that's a different kind of monologue which I don't consider "speechifying". That's just me, because I don't see JM as a great dramatic actor, but of course to each their own.

VK's execution of a similar church monologue changed my feelings on that point.

Yes he was excellent, and he can cry at the drop of a hat.

It wasn't as...boxy and the pin stripes didn't really help. Plus he wore jackets that were not only square, but LONG square, just straight up and down with no shape.

And yes, god yes it was bad.
