C. Happy birthday to [livejournal.com profile] stultiloquentia! She's an excellent writer and thinker and wit, and she makes me incredibly happy when ever I see her soup can. That was not a dirty innuendo.
I. The IWRY Marathon kicked off today! The story is Letters, by Jo ([livejournal.com profile] librarian2003). I haven't read it yet, but I'm really excited because Jo's a fabulous writer. She's one of the first Jossverse fic authors I've ever read! So hop to it, kids!
N. Tomorrow [livejournal.com profile] lostakasha posts. She wrote B/A, y'all. I'm aquiver with excitement.
D. Does anybody know what happened to Spy!Daddy? I mean, that show, Justice, that used to come on after Bones?
E. Speaking of Bones, this ep was a little hard to watch for me because sometimes every woman I know seems so intent on changing themselves, especially getting thinner. It makes me sad. Also, I'm doing this writing thing where I have to do body modification research, and it's really icky. Like, some of the photos I looked at, with men and 19" waists. I think that's why I'm nauseous.
R. On the other hand, DB. Fuck, that man's arms. No, seriously. I'd do 'em.
E. S4 of AtS OWNS me. It owns me like an owning thing. And long, woe-is-me, what-am-I-now, on-and-on, in-the-church monologues, which JM and that whole scene just, I'm sorry, utterly lamed up for me, VK and that whole other scene made shiny and new for me.
L. Did you guys know T.J. Thyne (Hodgins from Bones) was on AtS?
L. I hate Angel's hair at the beginning of S5. And his clothes.
A. On Oprah, Denzel Washington talked about the art of a single perfect tear.
! Do you guys think Baltar, Joaquin Phoenix, and VK have an uncanny ability to cry?

I didn't think JM in the church was lame, probably because it had a nekkid Spike draping himself on a cross and sizzling. Seriously, that was all I needed. I will watch Spike act against a wall. Or in a box. (or with a fox!)

I think DB was kind of... unkempt or something, the last few years. Physically. But see, he's always too "big" for me, as you know, and until recently he's only exacerbated that for me (esp. with his HUGE NECK). I haven't seen Bones but I've seen the *pictures* which have convinced me he is much nicer looking now and less box-like.

Spike was pointless in S5 AtS. As in, I watched for him, and didn't get what I wanted (though I liked Connor coming back, and Fred/Illyria stuff).

I tried to like the church scene. I felt I should because it was big and sweeping and melodramatic and I dunno, soul-having. But yeah it's not only boring to me but godawful to sit through.

God. God, DB has a sexy neck. He has this fabulous adam's apple. Seriously. I want an icon with an arrow to his larynx saying I'd do that.

DB on Bones looks just as boxy to me. What's better, even more boxy. I mean his shoulders. They're like a front door. Am I getting drool on you? I don't really care. Apparently I'm a slathering pantyfan. But, his face did narrow up again some.

I love Spike in S5. I can see how if you love the B/S dynamic how you might not like him so much here. He was used more for comedic effect and how he plays off others rather than his own personal issues. I think though that if the series had gone on, we've seen a lot more of Spike's innards. Um, in a good way.

Connor coming back is my favorite ep of that season. OMG IT KILLS ME.

Sometimes I wish they'd gotten a S6 just for the sake of Illyria. They could've killed everyone else off, kept her, and I'd've still been pretty happy. She's just so fucking badass. And AA is so tremendous.
